This page outlines some practical information about working together.
I aim to keep arrangements clear and transparent, so that therapy itself can remain focused on the work we are doing together. If anything here feels unclear, you are very welcome to ask.
Locations
I work with adults in London and online.
In-person sessions are offered at two London locations:
I also offer online sessions via a secure video platform. Online work can be a helpful option for people who prefer to meet remotely, have limited availability to travel, or wish to continue therapy while away from London.
Practical arrangements
Sessions last about 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week.
Having a regular, protected time supports continuity and helps therapy become a reliable part of your week.
Sessions are charged at £130 per session.
Fees are reviewed periodically, and any changes are communicated in advance.
Payment
If you are self-funding, payment is required on the day of each session unless otherwise agreed. Payment is usually made by bank transfer or cash.
Invoices or receipts are available if needed, and monthly invoicing can be arranged for ongoing work.
Cancellations
A regular weekly time is reserved for you. For this reason, a one-week cancellation policy applies.
Appointments cancelled or missed with less than one week’s notice are charged at the full fee, as this time cannot usually be reallocated. This applies whether sessions are funded privately or by insurance. These boundaries are in place to support consistency and to protect the steady space that therapy requires.
Health insurance
I am registered with a number of UK health insurance providers (Bupa, WPA, Aviva, Cigna). If your therapy is funded by insurance, I will usually invoice your insurer directly at the agreed rate.
If your policy includes an excess, this is payable by you. Insurance providers do not cover missed or late-cancelled sessions, and any fees not covered by your insurer remain your responsibility.
If you are using insurance, it is important that authorisation is in place before sessions begin. I am happy to clarify what information is needed if this applies to you.
Confidentiality and privacy
Confidentiality is a central part of psychological therapy.
I take care to handle personal information lawfully, ethically, and securely, in line with professional standards and data protection legislation.
Further details about how personal information is collected, used, and stored are set out in the Privacy Notice, which is provided before therapy begins.
I am always happy to discuss any questions about confidentiality or data protection.
