Sessions
Sessions last approximately 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time each week.
A regular weekly time is usually reserved for the duration of the work. This continuity helps create a stable space in which the therapeutic process can develop.
Sessions are available in person in London or online via secure video.
Fees
The fee for a 50-minute session is:
£150 in-person sessions
£130 online sessions
If you are using private health insurance, sessions are invoiced at the rate agreed with your provider.
Fees are reviewed periodically, and any changes are communicated in advance.
Locations
In-person sessions are offered at two London locations:
Online sessions take place via a secure video platform.
Many people find online therapy a helpful option when travel is difficult, schedules are demanding, or when they wish to continue therapy while away from London.
Payment
If you are self-funding, payment is usually made on the day of the session, unless otherwise agreed.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.
Invoices or receipts can be provided, and monthly invoicing can be arranged for ongoing work if preferred.
Cancellations
A regular weekly time is reserved specifically for you. This supports consistency and protects the steady space that therapy requires.
For this reason, a one-week cancellation policy applies.
Appointments cancelled or missed with less than one week’s notice are charged at the full fee, as the time cannot usually be offered to someone else. This applies to both privately funded and insurance-funded sessions.
Using Private Health Insurance
I am a recognised provider with a number of UK health insurance providers, including Aviva, Bupa, Cigna and WPA.
Authorisation from your insurer must be in place before sessions begin. You are then able to choose a recognised therapist.
If your therapy is funded by insurance, I will normally invoice your provider directly at the agreed rate. If your policy includes an excess, this is payable by you.
Insurance providers do not cover missed or late-cancelled sessions, and any fees not covered by your insurer remain your responsibility.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Confidentiality is a central part of psychological therapy.
I take care to handle personal information lawfully, ethically, and securely, in line with professional standards and data protection legislation.
Further details about how personal information is collected, used, and stored are set out in the Privacy Notice, which is provided before therapy begins.
If you have any questions about confidentiality or data protection, I will be happy to discuss them with you.
